Booking policy

Reserve your date

  • A 25% non-refundable retainer and signed service agreement are required to reserve your event date.
  • Your date is not guaranteed until both the retainer and signed agreement are received.
  • The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Bookings made within 14 days of the event require payment in full.

Cancellation policy

Important terms

  • The booking retainer is non-refundable because your date is reserved exclusively for you.
  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event may apply eligible payments beyond the retainer toward a future event within 12 months, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
  • If Malcala Studio must cancel due to an emergency beyond its control, all monies paid will be refunded or reasonable efforts will be made to secure a qualified replacement DJ with your approval.

Full policy details are provided in the service agreement. By booking, the client agrees to the hold-harmless terms contained in that agreement.
